Potential interruptions in the availability of menu information in October – UniCafe’s production control system being renewed

This October, the data of all UniCafe restaurants will be integrated under one system, including product management, recipe and menu planning, as well as the management of restaurant-specific data such as opening hours.
The transition will be scheduled in such a way that it will cause as little disruption as possible to our customers, restaurants and website. However, there may be interruptions in the availability of menu information, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Once the new system is up and running, information on the ingredients used in our lunches and other food will be updated on our menus at menu.unicafe.fi– and unicafe.fi directly from the ingredient databases maintained by our suppliers.
What is going to change?
- • UniCafe restaurants will stop using printouts of product descriptions from 29 September, but these will still be available from our staff if needed. Detailed product descriptions are available at unicafe.fi
- • You can find information about a product’s carbon footprint on the menus at the restaurants, as well as on our website.
- • The percentage of saturated fat, sugars and fibre will also be provided in the nutritional information.
If you have any questions about the new system, our restaurant staff will be happy to help.
Menus and product information for UniCafe restaurants will continue to be available at menu.unicafe.fi and unicafe.fi.
